Samer is a dedicated exercise therapist with a comprehensive background in nutrition, kinesiology, and holistic health practices. He began his journey by earning a Bachelor of Science in Food, Nutrition, and Health from the University of British Columbia. To further his expertise, Samer obtained certifications in Plant-Based Nutrition from Cornell University and the Starch Solution from the McDougall Health and Medical Center.Pursuing his passion for kinesiology, Samer received a Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice from the National Academy of Osteopathy and became a Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist through Functional Anatomy Seminars.
His commitment to continuous learning led him to explore various movement systems, including Movnat, Fighting Monkey, Baduanjin Qigong, Movement Archery, and the Wim Hof Method. He incorporates these diverse techniques into his work by utilizing Functional Range Conditioning to enhance joint mobility and strength, Baduanjin Qigong to improve breathing and energy flow, and Fighting Monkey practices to promote movement adaptability and coordination. Samer also uses pranayama breathing techniques to support respiratory health and reduce stress, myofascial release and soft tissue mobilization to relieve muscle tension, and ergonomic adjustments to address workplace-related musculoskeletal issues. Gait analysis and training further enable him to enhance movement efficiency and prevent injuries, ensuring his clients receive a comprehensive, tailored approach.
