I have been engaged with the FAWSEC community long before joining the group in 2004: I was a student at Al-Bayan Bilingual School (BBS) from 1977 to 1990, a co-founder and member of the BBS Alumni Association in 1996, a co-founder and ex-member of Fawzia Sultan International School (FSIS) PTA in 1998, and a parent of two students at BBS since 2009.
Prior to joining FAWSEC, I received a B.S. in Business Administration (with a concentration in Finance & Marketing) from Boston University, Massachusetts, in 1996. Later that year, I joined the Treasury Department at the National Bank of Kuwait where I worked for eight years. In 1999, I obtained the ACI Dealing Certificate with distinction and has since become a member of the Kuwait Financial Markets Association. I also worked briefly in the field of real estate development and investment.
Since I joined FAWSEC in 2004 (where I currently work as the Chief Executive Officer), my main goal was to help FAWSEC and its subsidiaries achieve excellence and keep moving forward. I feel so proud to have contributed to the success of many projects over these years, including the establishment of the BBS campus in Hawalli, renovation of the BBS Nursery in Jabriya, rebranding and restructuring of FSIS (which became BIS), and launching of the new FAWSEC Staff Compound in Sabah Al-Salem area. In addition to running FAWSEC daily activities, I work closely with the company owners and Board of Directors to plan, develop, and implement growth efforts and strategies.
