Drawing on my vast experience in community mental health in both the United States and the Middle East, I can help individuals, couples, and families overcome many psychological and emotional difficulties (including: complex trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, domestic violence, personality disorders, and relational issues). I utilize different therapeutic techniques to help my patients reach optimum well-being and performance (including psychoeducational, Psychodiagnostics, and posttraumatic stress disorder evaluations).
After obtaining my B.A. in Psychology from the American University of Beirut, I studied in the United States as a Fulbright scholar, receiving both a Master’s and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, San Francisco. Prior to joining FSHN, I trained at San Francisco Bay Area community mental health clinics, providing psychological services to underserved populations in the area. I also spent two years at the University of California, Davis (UCD) providing psychological services and consultation for staff members and the broader UCD community. I can provide services in both English and Arabic.
