Psychotherapist
B.A., M.Coun.

After completing my graduate program - which was focused on group and college counseling in two different schools in New York - I became a certified counselor in New York, specializing in college and school counseling. I have moved to Kuwait four years ago, where I currently work as a school and college counselor. Using evidence-based therapeutic techniques, I help school students (from pre-k to grade 12) explore, discuss, and address their learning and emotional difficulties in an emotionally safe environment, and, thus, improving their academic performance and overall mental well-being. I also provide support to college students throughout the whole admission process, helping them identify their educational and professional goals. My clinical approach depends primarily on person-centered therapy which can be used in combination with other therapeutic modalities (such as reflective therapeutic techniques and cognitive-behavioral therapy) - based on the specific needs of each client.

Before moving to Kuwait, I worked for several years with elementary students with learning differences. I also provided private college consultation in both the United States and Kuwait, offering one-on-one support throughout the entire application process.
