Clinical Psychology Postgraduate Fellow

Passionate about advancing psychological understanding and therapeutic interventions, particularly in the targeted exploration of psychological disorders and cognitive impairments.

During my clinical placement I’ve worked with patients using behavioral activation, mindfulness grounding techniques, and cognitive reframing, integral components of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Furthermore, I have employed mindfulness strategies to foster presence through the integration of art therapy and sensory stimulation. In previous experiences, I engaged in mindfulness practices with patients, incorporating breathing exercises, body scan techniques, and thought training. Moreover, I have deepened my understanding of learning disabilities, intending to better support youths. I am actively pursuing a deeper understanding of contemporary child-centered therapeutic interventions with the goal of applying this knowledge in professional settings to support youths in Kuwait as they navigate psychological challenges, contributing to their profound journey toward wellness.
