Wafaa has enjoyed being a pediatric occupational therapist since she graduated from University of Jordan in 2016. She is registered with the Jordanian Society and World Federation of Occupational Therapist (WFOT). She is a certified Occupational Therapist in Sensory Integration Therapy from Southern California University, and a certified therapist in Green-Span (Floor time) approach for early intervention. Wafaa has completed her fieldwork in a variety of settings such as schools, outpatient clinics, and early intervention programs. She has experience working with a multitude of diagnoses and has a primary interest in those related to motor and neurodevelopmental dysfunction such as ASD, Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, and acquired inquiry. She has a passion for helping kids and families be able to participate in everyday activities especially in sensory processing and feeding therapy. Currently, she is a full time Occupational Therapist in FSHN specialized for pediatric therapy and early intervention. She continuous to develop her experience by being updated with the latest evidence based practice and approaches to provide the best intervention plans for our kids.
