Responsibilities:
- Administer speech and language evaluation and examination to collect the type and degree of impairment.
- Counsel clients to improve speech and language or hearing impairment.
- Evaluate SLP test results and client background information to determine the presence of speech impairment and determine the course of treatment.
- Conduct diagnostic/evaluation tests for clients failing speech screening under the necessary supervision of a senior SLP.
- Coordinate with colleagues to implement effective treatment programs thereby.
- Plan and manage SLP programs for a designated caseload of patients and organize this effectively and efficiently with regard to clinical priorities and achieving the service excellence.
- Cooperate with other clinical departments to provide multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary care to patients.
Qualifications:
- Licensed speech therapist by Kuwait MOH with permission to work second private entity
- Pediatric specialty
- Commission based on qualifications. Minimum 40-50 percent.
- Working hours: Sunday -Thursday 4-7:30, and Saturdays 9-5:30.
- 3-month position: officially starting Sept 1, ending Dec 1 with required shadowing time for 2 weeks prior to start.
