Introduction to Health Coaching

Health Coaches are health partners who help clients feel their best and reach their health and wellness goals, by designing carefully-tailored programs that help them make positive and long-term food and lifestyle changes.

Health coaching is based on the bio-individuality approach which does not believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. It, rather, believes that everyone is unique in their biological makeup and requirements. With this in mind, our health coaches design flexible, life-long, and particularly-tailored plans that help clients achieve optimal mental, emotional, and physical well-being. They work one-on-one with clients to explore the best dietary and lifestyle changes that help them become the best versions of themselves.

Health coaches believes that there is more to healthy integrative nutrition than just the food we put on our plates. They always stress the importance of “Primary Foods” as a powerful tool in our journey towards holistic nourishment. Such approaches usually address overall lifestyle changes, with a focus on food and nutrition. They target other life areas which impact our short and long-term health and wellness just as much as food does, such as: relationships, career, spirituality, physical activity, etc.). With more than 100 dietary and coaching theories, methods, and tools, health coaches can significantly contribute to the broader health care field, by guiding people to make healthier lifestyle choices, take a proactive and holistic approach to their health, and become the best versions of themselves.

What is Health Coaching?

Health coaching is an integrative and holistic approach to health and overall wellness. Health coaches are wellness professionals who guide clients through their journey to reach health and wellness goals, including weight loss, sleep improvement, energy boost, stress management, etc. They create a safe environment where clients can explore better health, behavioral, and lifestyle changes that help them develop life-long healthy practices. Along with food and nutrition, health coaches also focus on other life areas that can impact our life as much as food does, including career, spirituality, relationships, and environment - which we call “Primary Foods”. Making the right choices in these areas can significantly support and improve our overall health.

What Is the Primary Role of a Health Coach?

The primary goal of health coaches is to help clients make smarter and long-term diet/lifestyle choices and become better versions of themselves. They work one-on-one with clients to identify their personal health goals and curate especially-tailored programs to help them achieve these goals.
